This 3-part series is a great way to introduce students to the wonderful world of science. These instructive videos will describe to students how science is different from other disciplines and explain different science based career options.  Students will also be shown practical examples to help understand the components of the scientific method and ways that it can be used.  Examples of how to observe and how to record these scientific observations are also depicted with vivid, understandable examples. Each program includes a 10-minute interactive video with on-screen questions, vocabulary, and a five-question video quiz, as well as a time saving 15-page teacher's guide with math, reading and writing activities, assessments, skill development lessons and video script.  Integrate media assets into lesson plans by showing a complete 10-minute video, short clips, or multimedia animations and images.  Custom multi-media formats include h.264, Windows Media video, and DVD.
