Designed for grades K-3, this title offers a brief primer on questions looking at how asking questions is an important step in learning about the world around us, and pointing out that questions are especially useful in problem-solving. The program notes that while some questions can be answered with simple facts and observation, others require more detailed explanations. Using illustrative clips and examples (including spilled milk), Starting with Questions explores the words we used to begin questions (how, what, where, etc.), and how the manner in which a question is asked can affect the response, while also emphasizing the critical importance of questions in fields including science and engineering.  Also featuring a review and video quiz, as well as teacher’s guide, this is recommended.
